Lina is a powerful ranged Intelligence hero in the game Dota 2. She is known for her high damage output and ability to quickly take down enemy heroes. She is getting first picked in almost every single game. It's either first pick or banned her in every game.
She can be played as a mid or as a carry. Right now she is dealing more damage as carry and farms more faster as compared to mid Position. She excels at dealing heavy damage in team fights and can be very effective when played correctly.

Lina's Abilities:
Dragon Slave: Sends out a wave of fire that deals damage to all enemies in a line in front of her. The wave also has a small area of effect.
Light Strike Array: calls down a meteor strike that deals damage and stuns all enemies in a small area. The stun duration increases with the level of the ability.
Fiery Soul: Passive ability that increases her attack speed and movement speed after using an ability on creep or on hero. The bonuses stack up to 7 times.
Laguna Blade: Lina's ultimate ability that deals heavy damage to a single target enemy. The damage increases with the level of the ability.

Here are some tips to play Lina.
Use Dragon Slave to clear creep waves and harass enemy heroes. Try to hit as many enemies as possible with it.
In laning stage keep spamming your light strike array so you can stun the enemy and deny their creeps or harass them. Hit them as much as you can.
Fiery Soul will increase Lina's attack speed and movement speed after using an ability, allowing her to farm and push lanes more effectively. Try to stack it up as much as possible.
Lina's abilities are best used in combination with other heroes' abilities. Try to coordinate with your team to set up kills.
Farm your items with which you can fight the enemy then join team fights.

These are the right items to buy for carry Lina
Falcon Blade:
Lina needs health, mana regen and damage. Falcon blade gives all three of them to sustain in lane and spam skills and do more damage. It provides 200 health, 1.8 mana regeneration and 14 damage.
Maelstorm:
It is the most important item on lina in order flash farm, clear waves more faster and out farm the enemies since Lina has a lot of attack speed and can do more maelstrom procs because of that. It provides 24 damage also. Later on you can upgrade it to glipneir.
Shadow Blade:
It provides 20 damage, 35 attack speed and makes you invisible for 14 seconds which is very useful for lina, not only this but also allows her to move freely on map, gank on any hero on the map, and escape from dangerous situations.
Boots of Travel:
Boots Of Travel can accelerate your farm more faster since you can easily TP into any lane and farm the creep waves and also can join team fights at any team if needed.
Black King Bar:
BKB is the most essential item for Lina to participate in team fights or while going on enemy’s high ground. BKB provides 10 strength, 24 damage and grants spell immunity for 9 seconds. She can hit freely without worrying of getting disabled or stunned.
Silver Edge:
It is upgrade of Shadow Blade, it provides 52 damage, 35 attack speed and grants each attack a 30% chance to deal 160% damage. It also gives passive critical strike with which you can burst any hero easily in one stun. It also disables enemy’s passive abitities for 4 seconds.
Satanic:
In order to man fight enemy’s carry hero, Satanic is a must item for you since it provides 25 strength, 38 damage and 30% lifesteal. When its active it increases Lifesteal percentage to 175% for 6 seconds. It also gives basic dispels.

Ursa:
Ursa can easily man fight Lina and win, because of his third spell Fury Swipes it allows him to deal more damage after he hits every time. He can easily jump on Lina with Blink Dagger and Abyssal blade and kill her.
Legion Commander:
Since Lina has a lot of attack speed and high physical damage, Legion Commander can easily kill her in one duel with Blade Mail.

Heaven’s Halberd:
Heaven’s Halberd is a very good against Lina since it can disarm her for 5 seconds and it also provides 20% evasion.
Crimson Guard:
Crimson Guard is very effective against all the physical damage heroes especially against Lina since it gives 100% chance to block 75 damage from each incoming attack.
