Riki's Shard ability Sleeping dart has been removed.

Smoke Screen now upgradable by Aghanim’s shard and Enemies in the smoke screen have their armor reduced by 7 and cannot be targeted by their allies. Which means if you get caught in Smoke Screen then your team mate cannot force staff you out.

Cloak And Dagger now gives an experience bonus for kills and assists. Kill bonus: 150/250/350, Assist bonus: 100. Which means you are going to get double experience whenever you kill your opponent.

Now Aghanim Scepter is a must item to deal insane amount of damage.

Tips To Play Riki in Patch 7.33:

• Farm your main items first before going into fights, at least Diffusel Blade so you can easily kill a support or core.

• Always keep an eye on the map when you are farming in the lanes and don’t show in lane for too long otherwise you will end up dying.

• In fights always try to kill their supports first because their core won’t have back up if their supports are killed. You can easily kill support heroes since you have insane physical damage.

• As soon as you have your Diffusel Blade, you need to start roaming around the map and look for kills because the new change of Riki’s Ultimate is going to give you double experience per kill.

• Do not try to man fight your enemies because you are Riki and you need to hit them from behind so you can deal more damage. You should start fight with your Blink Strike and then use Tricks of Trade if the enemy is trying to fight you back.

• Do not forget to cast your Smoke Screen as soon as you Blink on the enemy especially against a stunner hero or a hero who has escape ability.

Counters of Riki 7.33:

• Slardar:

He can counter Riki with his ultimate which gives true sight vision, reduces a lot of armor and easy to catch riki.

• Bounty Hunter:

BH ultimate is somewhat similar to slardar’s ulti but bounty hunter’s ultimate gives extra gold every time a enemy dies while being tracked and he can track Riki so you cannot show on the map that much.

• Spirit breaker:

Bara can come at you from anywhere if you show on the map or farm in enemies vision. So as a Riki if enemy has a Spirit Breaker in their team you need to farm jungle only.
