The world of Dota 2 is constantly evolving, with new heroes and strategies being introduced regularly. Choosing the right carry hero to play is crucial, as they play a critical role in determining the outcome of a match. A "tier list" is a ranking of heroes based on their strengths, weaknesses, and overall viability in a given meta.
In this article, we will introduce you to the latest Dota 2 carry tier list 7.32d, breaking down the top heroes for the role and why they are considered to be strong choices.
Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, this guide will provide valuable insights into the current Dota 2 hero tier list of the game and help you make informed decisions when selecting a carry hero.
S Tier/ Tier One:
Lina
Naga Siren
Lina ( Win rate 55% and Pick rate 17.77%)-Safe lane
Lina is getting first picked, first ban in every game. In the Highest MMR bracket she had 2380 games played with 55% win rate. This is predominantly carry Lina. The build is Falcon Blade, Brown Boots into Maelstorm, Black king Bar, Boots Of Travels, Glipneir, Satanic and Silver edge.
Its pretty much the same item build every single game. Lina is insanely strong in lane by dealing high amount of physical damage against enemy heroes. She can flash farm very fast because of her attack speed that’s what makes her best dota 2 carry in 7.32d.
If you wish to play Lina at mid, you can always go magic damage build. Click to check out Lina Mid role guide
Naga Siren (win rate 51.73% and pick rate 3.37%)-Safe lane
Dota 2 players have ton of success with Naga Siren. The difference between her and these other greedy carries is that she can push out lanes super early and she doesn’t need her team to actually protect her because her illusion can farm on more dangerous parts of the map either the lane or the jungle camps while her real hero can safely farm the safe parts of the map.
Naga siren build is simple, you go for manta style, orchid then heart. This build on Naga is quite potent depending on what you think fits your play style. The reason that Naga siren is best carry is that she is similar to Alchemist in the sense that she gets a ton of net worth and become 6 slotted in the 30 minute mark.
Note that she is not negatively contributing to the game doesn’t need help and she flash farms. So all that put together just makes her the strongest melee illusion carry hero by a large margin right now.
A Tier/ Tier Two:
Drow Ranger
Sniper
Ursa
Slark
Drow Ranger (win rate 54.02% and pick rate 20.14%)-Safe lane
Sniper (win rate 47.75% and pick rate 21.33% )-Safe lane
Drow Ranger and Sniper are by far the most reliable edgy right-click range carry hero. If we compare them to heroes like Luna, Arc Warden, Medusa and Gyrocopter. Their laning stage are quite good and they also scale very well.
Ursa (win rate 50.46% and pick rate 10.62%)-Safe lane
Slark (win rate 51.43% and pick rate 17.44%)-Safe lane
Ursa and Slark out of all the heavy commitment heroes they kind of have escape abilities which are really nice. Either allows them to prolong the use of their Black king bar or just perhaps skip BKB altogether or at least delay even buying BKB. This is because of their spells.
B Tier/ Tier Three:
Going on to the B Tier, these are heroes which are definitely above average and you will probably find very good games for them, they also offer something very specific to the game that is quite useful especially given the right circumstances.
Dawn breaker (win rate 50.40% and pick rate 6.27%)-Safe lane
Clinkz (win rate 53.45% and pick rate 10.22%)-Safe lane
Shadow Fiend (win rate 50.58% and pick rate 19.77%)-Safe lane
Anti-Mage (win rate 51.84% and pick rate 12.28%)-Safe lane
Bloodseeker (win rate 49.02% and pick rate 4.48%)-Safe lane
Lifestealer (win rate 49.41% and pick rate 8.24%)-Safe lane
Morphling (win rate 46.23% and pick rate 6.46%)-Safe lane
Faceless Void (win rate 47.66% and pick rate 13.36%)-Safe lane
Terrorblade (win rate 44.18% and pick rate 2.09%)-Safe lane
These heroes are not absolutely broken and people still mainly picking them last in the draft unless they see their laning opponent or feel really good about the synergy with what their teammates have already picked.
C Tier/ Tier Four:
Now to the C Tier, these heroes are just average and depends on the draft.
Monkey King
Riki
Sven
Phantom Lancer
Wraith King
Medusa
Juggernaut
Pudge
Weaver
Huskar
Leshrac
Nature Prophet
Some people might be wondering about heroes like Riki which is broken hero right now, but he is broken at support not at carry (click to Read more). The job of carry hero is to do a lot of flash farming and a lot of long range damage dealing/ poke. it feels like for the most part heavy commitment heroes that don’t have innate survivability feel pretty bad and heroes that don’t flash farm the map and jungle also feel pretty bad
Examples like Leshrac and Medusa I think the front liners type Carries that are stationary and walk at you aren’t generally popular against what heroes we will see in the higher tiers.
D Tier/ Tier Five:
Moving on to the D Tier, these heroes are quite weak in the current meta.
Spectre
Luna
Lone Druid
Alchemist
Templar Assassin
These are all space takers for like the first 20 minutes of the game and you really just don’t feel their presence. They also don’t have strong laning phase.
The timing of these heroes are not strong for the first 20 to 25 minutes of the game. Because they need to farm their items first.
F Tier/ Tier Six:
So, first we will start from the bottom of the barrel the F Tier these are the heroes which players do not play these days.
Phantom Assassin
Troll Warlord
Gyrocopter
Phantom Assassin doesn’t feel powerful at any stage of the game.
Troll still has one of the worst ultimate in the entire game maybe the worst spell in the entire game. Which makes him unreliable carrying.
Gyrocopter is just simply the understated doesn’t have a particularly strong laning phase against lot of the popular offlaners right now it’s just generally underwhelming.
