The final Patch 7.32c is live now before the Dota 2 International 2022

Updated: Feb 9, 2023

Dota 2 Patch 7.32c is now live; this may be the international TI11 2022 patch.

This Patch supposedly is the game format for next month's international 2022. The update brings some nerfs and buffs to items, heroes, and neutral creeps. This Patch isn't as huge as the 7.32a, but still, it holds value owing to the good refining of the game elements – items, heroes, and neutral creeps.

Last Chance Qualifiers:

The 7.32c Gameplay Update has some fixes for neutral creeps and heroes and overall is prepping the game for Last Chance Qualifiers. Last Chance Qualifiers will be played on this Patch, meaning there will be fewer Faceless Void, Undying, Visage, and Batrider.

In the full patch note, there are two major item changes and some minor changes. However, we will only be going through the most important changes, like those we think might be the most impactful in-game, especially with The International 2022 merely two weeks away.

No More Double Refresher:

It's a big nerf to Enigmas, Faceless Void, and Tidehunter because triple ultimate are no longer possible. Dota 2 Patch 7.32c brings a big change to Refresher. Refresher orb and Refresher Shard now share a cooldown means using one will put the other one on cooldown, and the cooldowns will no longer go down while they are in backpacks.

These two changes will probably affect the spellcaster heroes with long cooldown ultimates preventing them from chaining ultimate like Black Hole, Ravage, Chronosphere, and RP.

It is a nerf to BKB also since you cannot use BKB 3 times, especially for core players.

Noteworthy 7.32c Patch buffs:

Axe and Tidehunter look promising with the slight buff they have received.

Axe:

Axe's base damage has been increased by 3, which can be lethal when it comes to his creep–wave clearing ability. Axe's counter helix, which does additional damage while taking damage from the enemy, can clear waves faster than before. They are goners who get caught in Axe's berserk call. His level 15 Talent Battle Hunger slow has also increased from +10% to +12%, which gives Axe a slight advantage to chase down the enemy easily.

Tidehunter:

Tidehunter is the second hero in focus which we might see being picked in competitive matches more often now. His ultimate Ravage's damage has increased, although not a lot. However, that's not the most important change.

His first ability, Gush, has received a half-second debuff increase from 4s to 4.5s. Suppose we combine that with Aghanim Scepter and Aghanim's shard. It's so overpowering. Plus, with his tanky nature, Tidehunter will dish out even more damage than before and can make a return with more DPS and tank items.

RIP Batrider Pickers:

Batrider got nerfed a lot in this Patch. We saw a lot of Batrider in the previous season, especially at majors and other LAN Events as long as in Pubs. It was the most popular hero in pubs. This nerf can be seen as a big impact to Batrider pickers in mid or offlane.

The "Sticky Napalm" cast range has been reduced to 600 from 550/600/650/700. It allows the enemy to play on the map or evade being slowed freely.

The "Flamebreak" knockback distance has been decreased from 300 to 250, which is also a nerf to bat rider.

Lastly, the Flamebreak knockback distance is reduced from +75 to +50 in the level 10 talent. It will probably not be easy to play batrider from now on.
