DOTA 2 patch 7.32 is live now

Updated: Feb 9, 2023

In the new patch 7.32, Valve made some major changes to the game. They unveiled changes to the map, neutral items, reworked shards, talents, and heroes. The timing was very unexpected since ESL One Malaysia is still ongoing. This patch is released mainly for TI 11. More changes will be seen through the regional qualifiers to the main stage of TI 11. The changes which made this patch noticeable are the addition of primal beast to captain’s mode, the requirement of mana by BKB, and flagbearer creeps.

The patch opened up with the announcement of Primal Beast's addition to Captain’s mode so that this new hero could become a part of professional games. The primal beast has gotten a few buffs, like a new Aghanim's scepter that makes his spell "Uproar" stronger. Which was shown in Aghanim's labyrinth.

Moreover, there are general changes. Some heroes have gotten buffed, their shards or talents have been reworked, and some have been nerfed. In my opinion, Tinker and Huskar will have a higher win rate in this patch alongside Visage, Queen of Pain, and Anti Mage because BKB now requires 50 mana, which is a huge buff for Anti Mage players. Map changes made the laning phase for mid-lanners difficult. As side camps of the mid-lane have been removed, the result is that it has become harder for a mid-laner to farm in case he faces a hard counter in the lane. More map changes have weakened the dire side by making it more difficult for them to approach and fight in the Roshan pit.

The XP changes are the most important part of this patch, which made the game for support players more dependent on farming since there was a decrease in passive gold per minute by 15% and the amount of XP required per level has also increased. The Streak Experience has been rescaled. In other words, it’s harder to get to the higher levels, which means the game's pace has been slowed down.

The addition of Flagbearer will change the laning stage a lot. If your enemies kill your Flagbearer creep, they will gain more gold than you in the laning phase. Starting at minute 2, one of the melee creeps in every second creep wave is replaced by a flagbearer. It has 40% magic resistance and an Inspiration Aura, which gives +3 health regen to all allies within a 700 range. Killing an enemy Flagbearer will grant you and each allied hero within 1200 radius bonus gold equal to 100% of a Melee Creep's bounty. deny does not grant gold and cannot be denied by hero abilities such as Demonic Conversion.

The release date of Battel Pass (BP) has also been announced, which is September 1st, 2022. We hope to see some good new immortals that this Dota2 BP will bring for us. Everyone is already hyped to empty their pockets.
