Hello to my fellow PC owners and enthusiasts. Here are some incredible PC games from 2022 that you do not want to miss out on. Both single-player and multiplayer games will be included in this list. Let's get started with it right away.
1. Elden Ring
Rating: 9/10
Elden ring is expensive but well worth the purchase. For $49.99, you can purchase it on Steam. The most anticipated game award has already been won by Elden Ring, which will be released on February 25, 2022.
You are drawn into a fantasy world that you have never seen before in this open-world single-player game. Although the game's bosses are challenging to defeat, you will fall in love with it after you become comfortable with the battle style.
You can search for items and weapons during gameplay. Unexpected counters with varied dragons and bosses are the exciting part.
2. Stray
Rating: 9/10
Stray is the best reward for cat lovers like myself. You get to live a cat's life in the single-player video game Stray, which was released on July 19, 2022. For $11.99 on Steam, you can get Stray. A cat accidentally stumbled into the Walled City, which was inhabited by robots, in this thought-provoking and action-packed game.
The entire layout and aesthetic of Stray suggest a cyberpunk motif. As a cat, you must overcome riddles, perilous obstacles, and puzzles. You can also use your claws to scrape doors and carpets in order to keep your nails sharp and discover comfortable places to rest. You throw stuff around like a cat and put a paper bag over your head. I really enjoyed playing Stray, and I'm sure you guys will too.
3. V Rising
Rating: 9/10
Who, let's be honest, doesn't like vampires? V rising, a multiplayer and survival game, was released on May 14, 2022, and it is based on a vampire character that awoke from his sleep and had a craving for blood. Players in this game have a wide variety of options for battle in addition to skills and abilities.
The game's visuals are excellent. You'll feel like a vampire reading the specifics, including how you have to stay out of the sun during the day. There are many things you may do in this game, such as locate your horse, hunt your next prey when the moon has risen, and raid the castle of the other team. For $8.19, you can purchase it on Steam.
4. GhostWire: Tokyo
Rating: 9/10
Fans of the horror genre should play this game. GhostWire: Tokyo is the best option if you want to spend your money on a horror game that is worth it, has excellent combat, no problems, and an engaging plot. A single-player mode game, it was launched on March 25, 2022, and is currently accessible on stream for $39.99.
The fact that this game is an open-world horror game where you can choose how to spend your time there makes it particularly intriguing. You'll want to play more of this game because of the atmosphere and accurate depiction of Tokyo metropolis blended with supernatural sensations. Even though I don't like horror games, I became addicted to this one on my PC.
5. Multiverse
Rating: 9/10
A multiplayer game called Multiverse will be published on July 19, 2022, and it's now in open beta and is free to play. The game's eclectic cast, which includes Game of Thrones and DC heroes like Joker and Batman, has helped it become more well-known. The fact that Rick and Morty characters have lately been added to the game is what I enjoy most about it. The entire purpose of the multiverse is to allow you to enjoy playing your favourite TV show or movie character.
6. Monster Hunter Rise
Rating: 9/10
Role-playing action game Monster Hunter Rising features multiplayer. Capcorn, Capcorn U.S.A, Inc. produced and released this game. For the Nintendo Switch, it was initially released. The sixth instalment of the Monster Hunter Rise series is this game. It went on sale everywhere in March 2021. The Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expanded edition, which was made available for both Windows and consoles on June 30, 2022, followed the release of the original Monster Hunter Rise in January 2022. Both Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak and this game are available on Steam for a combined price of $69.99.
7. OlliOlli World
Rating: 9/10
Video game developer Roll7 and publisher Private Division have created OlliOlli World for sports fans. In February 2022, the third instalment of the OlliOlli series was made available for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
Really enjoyable; it may be as basic or complex as you like. You have two options: either you move on to point B or you try to beat yourself or other players on the leaderboards. Fantastic soundtrack and a terrific game. Simply avoid approaching it with a skater XL or skate mentality. It will make more sense if you imagine it as an arcade-style skate game.
8. Tunic
Rating: 9/10
If you enjoy exploring the universe that the creator developed, you should play this game. This game will appeal to you if you enjoyed Zelda Breath of the Wild or any other titles in that genre.
The beginning is difficult and there is little to no initial guidance, thus the one star reviews are not necessarily incorrect. This game was developed in a sophisticated way and is closely related to other RPGs. Pages that provide instruction and aid in formulating a plan for the game's next move are uncovered as you explore the map. Finding my first page in this PS 1 disc playbook from the 1990s gave me a strong sense of nostalgia.
9. Return To Monkey Island
Rating: 9/10
The sixth instalment of the monkey island series is called Return to Monkey Island. Terrible Toybox and Devolver Digital created and released this point-and-click adventure game. The Nintendo Switch, macOS, and Windows versions were all made available on September 19, 2022, and Linux users could get it on October 26, 2022. In this single-player, 2D game, your goal is to advance the plot by resolving narrative-based puzzles. You can do this by gathering information from non-player characters, discovering new locations, and gathering and using crucial items at the appropriate moments. This game is only $12.99 when purchased through Steam.
10. SteelRising
Rating: 8/10
Steelrising in a different historical period than the French Revolution. You will assume the position of Aegis, the Queen Marie Antoinette's female bodyguard, in this game. The year 1789 is the setting for this game. Bigben Interactive S.A., Nacon, and Spiders collaborated to create and release this game. On September 8, 2022, it was released for the PlayStation 5, Xbox One S, Xbox One X, and Microsoft Windows. From steam, you can purchase the base version of this game for $49.99 and the Bastille Edition for $59.99.
11. Tiny Tina’s Wonderland
Steam: 8/10
Tiny Action role-playing FPP game Tina's Wonderland was created and released by Gearbox Software and 2K Games. Players in this game must select one of the six classes. This game is set in a setting with a fantasy theme. You can play this game alone, with up to three other players, or with split-screen multiplayer. Overwork is a feature of this game that playable characters can utilise. You can participate in arbitrary combat encounters and quests in this game's overworld. For 44.99 dollars or 59.99 dollars for Tina's Tiny Wonderland: Chaotic Great Edition, you can purchase this game on Steam.
These are my top 11 games of the year, as of right now. Please share your selection of the best games released this year.
